The author of the book contacted me to design a cast of characters for her most successful work to date, Doroteo y El Conejo de la Luna, a children's book illustrated 100% by Mexican artists. After presenting my work to Doroteo's creative team, they contacted me with a proposal to illustrate two book chapters in my style.
